LGBTQ+/GSM

(What is this acronym?!)

Identifying outside of the heteronormative may cause seemingly endless challenges, such as adjusting to changes, working through the “coming out”/disclosure process, navigating self/family/societal acceptance, healing from traumas, and so much more. These unique stressors, at any level, can be the underlying causes for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other difficulties.

As therapists who are also in the community, we understand how important it is to have access to competent and affirming mental healthcare.

We are proud to help provide the safe and supportive environment, with the appropriate professional training, as a Gender and Sexual/Affectional Minority (GSM) inclusive therapists. We also work collaboratively with other affirming practitioners to help along your journey.
